Federal and State regulation requires a Quality Assurance Process Improve (QAPI) process. This requirement began over thirty (30) years ago with the Nursing Home Reform Act (OBRA 87). Its sophistication and timely reporting has increased dramatically. They new QAPI requirements increase this.
