David Bentley Harts first chapter in his book The Experience of God focuses on the metaphysical truth of God (classically understood). Much of what he states resonates deeply with what weve explored thus far in this course. However, he goes into greater detail (showing why, for example, thinking about many gods vs. one God is a categorical mistake). While he is not an easy read, he nevertheless provides much-needed clarification on a critical topic and does so with flair.
