At this time, students should have read and watched the two August Wilson plays.
Students also should have posted on these two plays, lots of posts on both plays, Fences and The Piano Lesson.
Students should have looked at the student sample essays esp. the one on both plays full student sample I asked students to read and post on. This is very imp.
So at this point, I think we are ready to write the final formal essay on the two August Wilson plays.
So I am setting the date for this final formal essay on the plays as April 29, 2024 (Monday). I need time to review them all and I have two Spring 2024 classes.
Please finish strong and do this final paper and follow the format of using a strong thesis statement that (in some way) ties the two plays together and used direct quotes (well chosen) from the plays and the critics. You must use at least one critical source I have given you.
