The aim of this review is to research on the topic of food-drug interactions with grapefruit as a primary focus. The idea is to gage at the current state of knowledge surrounding this topic and thus determine what further studies may be required. In particular, how such an interaction is related in a forensic context would be touched upon. This is to address the intrinsic dangers food-drug interactions have in society and how possible interactions may be mistaken for other outcomes such as overdose or used for wrong means.
