Reflection papers are based on the readings and content covered in the course. This is meant to be a reflective activity to understand what we have covered and discussed. The reflection papers are meant to answer some questions, ideas, thoughts, etc., that you have reckoned with as a result of the readings and videos you’ve seen during the class as well as some of our discussion in class. However, they are not meant to be summaries of the content. Reflection papers should be 3 pages in length (double space, 12-point Times New Roman font).
Prompt:
In the last few weeks we have focused on the relationship between race, gender, and migration. These concepts, without a doubt, are interconnected. In this reflection paper, share how you understand race and gender to complicate human mobility. Use concepts and ideas from readings (BUT NO SUMMARIES) to make your point. You can also add examples from cases, lived experiences, or family narratives to illustrate your argument.
