Students need to write a final paper, a minimum of ten pages (2400 words). The paper can be on any issue from the class. You must significantly engage with at least three readings from class, one of which must be one of the books (Haunted Media, Ghostly Matters, or Our Grateful Dead). You need to examine how ghosts, hauntings, mourning, or related issues can impact communication and culture.
You will need to turn in an abstract and annotated bibliography. The Abstract needs to be 300 words summarizing what you hope your argument will be. Your bibliography needs to examine which three texts you plan to use from class, and using at least a few sentences, how you plan for that text aid your argument.
